The Australian Network of Universities Data Officers (ANUDO) is a network of Chief Data Officers (or equivalent) from all Higher Education providers across Australia. The network is an informal advisory group.

ANUDO’s peak activity is a quarterly virtual meeting of members. Each meeting includes presentations from invited guests as well as knowledge and practice sharing sessions from members.

Terms of Reference

At the inaugural meeting held on 15 October 2021 it was agreed that the terms of reference for the network would be as follows:

  • Virtual meetings will be held on a quarterly basis
  • Meeting Chair will rotate through the members, and Chair for next meeting will be assigned at the prior meeting
  • Meetings will be convened by the Chair
  • Agenda to be set by the Chair
  • Meetings will be set for two-hour sessions
  • The group can setup specific Special Interest Groups (SIGs) for deep dives
  • Annual face-to-face meetup will be held at a venue to be mutually agreed
  • All discussions at virtual meetings and face-to-face meetings will be conducted under the Chatham House Rule
